Business Development Officer – Plastic Packaging Solutions

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding market share building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth through strategic sales of value-added products including IML (In-Mould Labelling) and stretch solutions.

• Drive sales growth of stackable crates and plastic packaging solutions
  
• Identify develop and convert new business opportunities while growing existing accounts
  
• Conduct regular client visits presentations and follow-ups to close deals
  
• Manage and track sales pipeline forecasts and performance targets
  
• Provide excellent after-sales support and resolve customer issues promptly
  
• Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors pricing and trends
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  
• Deliver against assigned revenue volume and margin targets
  
• Promote and upsell IML and stretch packaging solutions where applicable
  

• Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
  
• 35 years experience in sales/business development within the plastic packaging industry
  
• Strong understanding of industrial packaging solutions
  
• Exposure to stackable crates / returnable packaging is highly desirable
  
• Experience with IML and/or stretch products is an added advantage
  

• Strong sales negotiation and closing skills
  
• Excellent customer relationship management
  
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
  
• Confident communication and presentation skills
  
• Results-driven proactive and target-oriented mindset
