Job Summary

On behalf of our client we are seeking a creative and strategic Brand and Communications Manager to strengthen brand positioning oversee corporate communications and build meaningful engagement with patients partners employees and the wider public.

The successful candidate will develop integrated communication campaigns manage the organisations reputation and ensure consistent presentation of the brand across traditional digital and internal channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organisations brand and communications strategy.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity messaging tone and visual standards.
  • Plan and execute corporate service-line public-awareness and digital campaigns.
  • Manage website social media email publication and other communication channels.
  • Develop high-quality content including articles press releases speeches newsletters and executive communications.
  • Coordinate media relations and maintain relationships with journalists and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor public sentiment media coverage and emerging reputational risks.
  • Develop crisis-communication plans and support responses to sensitive issues.
  • Manage external creative media public-relations and production agencies.
  • Support internal communication and employee-engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate brand events stakeholder forums launches and community-engagement activities.
  • Track campaign reach engagement brand awareness and return on investment.
  • Conduct market and audience research to guide communication priorities.
  • Manage the communications budget and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Ensure public communications meet applicable healthcare ethical and data-privacy requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism Media Studies or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in communications digital marketing public relations or brand management is desirable.
  • A masters degree in Strategic Communications Marketing or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • At least seven years of experience in brand management corporate communications public relations or marketing communications.
  • A minimum of three years in a managerial or team-leadership position.
  • Experience in healthcare insurance professional services or another customer-focused industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing integrated campaigns and managing corporate reputation.
  • Strong content development media-relations and digital-communication capabilities.
  • Experience managing agencies budgets events and multiple communication channels.
  • Excellent writing presentation stakeholder-management and crisis-communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into practical improvements.
