Sr. Data Analyst (Commercial team)

Job Summary
In the role of Senior Commercial Analyst for Glovo Kazakhstan you will play a key role in achieving our Revenue Business Plan and driving the overall commercial performance of the country.
Your main focus will be unlocking growth opportunities through data-driven commercial insights. You will help shape the Commercial strategy in close collaboration with the Head of Commercial as well as cross-functional stakeholders from Headquarters and the local Kazakhstani team to improve performance and maximize value for our partners.
As a Senior Analyst Commercial Projects based in our Almaty office you will become an essential member of the Kazakhstan commercial team focusing on optimizing partner value and improving operational efficiency through analytical and automation-driven initiatives.
Core Focus Areas
Partner Ads & Promotions Strategy: Lead the strategy for Partner Ads and Promotions including development of sales pipelines and conversion funnels. Improve processes reporting and tooling to maximize commercial efficiency and campaign performance.
Data & Reporting: Consolidate optimize and maintain dashboards tools and reports used to track key KPIs and partner investments in Ads products. Deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights to leadership teams for strategic decision-making.
Commercial Project Support: Support the Commercial team with data-driven projects such as Business Planning partner P&L analysis Account Manager portfolio management forecasting and target setting.
Product Enablement: Develop clear playbooks and materials that communicate the value proposition of new Ads products and commercial solutions. Ensure high relevance and conversion across different advertiser and partner segments.
Team & Growth: Collaborate actively with colleagues across departments and contribute to a supportive growth-oriented and high-performance environment.
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering Economics Computer Science Business Administration or similar)
2-3 years of experience in high demanding roles or analytical positions (consulting investment banking operations finance logistics analytics strategy etc.)
A data-driven mentality with strong analytical skills: taking decisions based on data and using good business judgment when necessary
Problem-solving skills and hands on attitude: no problem is too small or too big
Youre an owner you have a natural bias for action always pushing for things to happen and result oriented
Comfortable working in a high growth and high-performance start-up with a fast pace
Excellent stakeholder management. Experience interacting effectively at multiple levels of the organization is highly valued
Expertise in MS Excel and strong SQL knowledge
Proficiency in English written and oral
Proficiency in AI tools
