Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a WordPress BackEnd Developer. Our timings are from 04:00 p.m. to 01:00 a.m. in order to cater to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements using serverside logic.
Customize and extend existing WordPress functionality to meet project requirements.
Write clean welldocumented and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
Troubleshoot debug and optimize WordPress websites to ensure optimal performance.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends tools and technologies to enhance development processes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Implement security best practices to protect websites from potential vulnerabilities.
Provide technical support and address issues related to WordPress backend development.
Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in PHP MySQL and JavaScript.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript/jQuery).
Solid understanding of web development best practices performance optimization and security principles.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with headless WordPress development.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Previous experience with ecommerce platforms and integrations.
