Position Requirements/Responsibilities:
Candidates must be a US citizen.
Candidates must have 10 years experience.
Candidates must be able to work independently.
Characteristics of importance include but are not limited to customer service problemsolving communication skills and the ability to read/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders.
Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Expert level of Microsoft enterprise software product offerings
Excellent demonstrated customer service skills.
Windows Server Platforms / Azure Infrastructure Customer Engineer Technical skills:
Broad knowledge of onpremises Microsoft products with a deep understanding of the following:
Windows Server (Windows Server 2012 R22025 advanced to expert level)
Virtualization (HyperV VMWare Azure VMWare Services Azure Stack HCI)
Windows Client (Windows 10/11 advanced to expert level)
Patching/Windows Update
Networking
Storage
Failover Clustering
Windows Performance
Blue Screen/kernel debugging
PowerShell (scripting automation and DSC)
RDS
WVD
Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures architecture designs and technology management.
8 years experience with customerfacing roles in systems architecture administration operations software support IT consulting onpremises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base and advanced troubleshooting
Understanding of Microsofts Modern IT Architecture and Strategy
Azure knowledge:
IaaS platform (networking storage etc)
Infrastructure as Code
Governance
Azure Migrate
WellArchitected Framework
Cloud Adoption Framework
Proven track record in successfully planning deploying operating and optimizing onpremises environments.
Windows and Azure certifications
Full Time
