We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows and Doors Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in window and door installation repair and maintenance along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues with windows and doors ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform installations repairs and maintenance of windows and doors in residential settings.
2. Diagnose issues with windows and doors including hardware malfunctions insulation/sealing problems and installation issues.
3. Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with consumers addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the service process.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment both onsite and in company vehicles ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures for handling materials and equipment.
6. Collaborate with team members and managers to coordinate job assignments schedule appointments and ensure timely completion of service appointments.
7. Document all service activities including work performed parts/material used and any additional recommendations or followup required for each service request.
8. Utilize computer skills effectively including familiarity with data entry software maintaining a high level of accuracy.
9. Stay updated on industry trends best practices and new products related to windows and doors and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities as needed. 10. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times representing the company positively and courteously when interacting with customers and colleagues.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the service department and contribute to the success of the organization.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or vocational training in carpentry construction or related fields preferred.
2. Minimum of 23 years of experience in window and door installation repair or service.
3. Strong technical skills and knowledge of window and door systems including various materials hardware and installation techniques.
4. Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective solutions.
5. Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering highquality service.
7. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required; ability to travel to job sites and transport equipment and materials as needed.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate customer schedules and service requests.
9. Physical ability to lift heavy objects climb ladders and work in various weather conditions and environments.
10. Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.

Location: GTA Ontario
Shift availability: Morning Shift
Salary: $18$20 per hour (depending on experience) to start only
