Growing traditional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water Resources Project Manager to their Chicago office!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project scope, budget and contract for review/approval by team leader
- Build project team with team leader (assign tasks, schedules and budget)
- Coordinate project budget
- Facilitate team meetings (kick-off and progress reports)
- Monitor schedule and budget to ensure project is completed on time and within budget
- Assure QA/QC standards are met at each project phase
- Primary contact for client
- Document team performance after project completion
- Assist with business development
- Prepare proposals/interviews and attend client meetings
- Coordinating invoicing and fee collection
- Complete project correspondence
Requirements:
- B.S. in engineering
- 8+ years of progressive engineering experience
- PE License
- Thorough understanding of project accounting
- Experience managing schedules/budgets for multiple projects
- Supervision experience
- Experience with MS Office and technical software
