Growing traditional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water Engineer to their Chicago-area office!
Responsibilities:
- Assign/manage tasks and schedules for junior staff
- Ensure tasks comply with QA/QC standards and meet client needs
- Identify and correct technical, schedule or financial issues
- Assist with bidding and contractor selection
- Monitor/supervise field personnel
- Respond to contractor questions
- Recommend/prepare change orders
- Assist with proposals, including calculation/estimation of time schedules and cost of proposed work
- Signs/seals engineering documents as an authorized representative
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Master s degree in a related field preferred
- PE License
- 6+years PE experience
