EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
Familiarity with all aspects of conference scheduling, initiating, running and ending a VTC session
Solid awareness of the capabilities, options and limitations of the VTC systems in use at LANDCOM
Familiarity with equipment interconnection, configuration and set-up, and able to perform limited fault-finding using provided diagnostic tools, and able to coordinate swiftly with technicians from enabling domains in case the problem requires it
An understanding of NATO and NATO CIS Service Provisioning structure
Experience working with flag officers and in an international military environment
NATO VTC systems
Level 1 VTC support
VTC Facilitation
Level 1 Computer support (for the VTC computer)
DUTIES/ROLE:
Supports VTC meetings of LANDCOM HQ flag officers (COM, DCOM and CoS, one at a time). On average, support will cover up to 12 hours of during and 4 hours of outside of business hours VTC per week
Acts as on-site VTC Level 1 support technician
Directly supports the Local User (Level 0) for generic VTC related issues
Escalates issues to VCC for remote trouble shooting assistance
In case of hardware failure, will perform LRU replacement guided by Level 3 VTC Staff
