An established technology company seeks a strategic and resultsfocused VP of Product Operations. This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving datadriven decisionmaking optimizing processes and ensuring smooth product lifecycles.

THE ROLE

  • Team Leadership: Guide a team of analysts and operations specialists dedicated to enhancing product strategy through data and operational insights.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with key departments (Sales Marketing Development etc.) to align product initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Lifecycle Management: Lead the design and continuous improvement of processes related to new product introductions product transitions and other lifecycle milestones.
  • Data Translator: Analyze complex data on product performance market trends and customer usage to uncover insights that inform product development and business strategy.
  • Efficiency Champion: Identify bottlenecks streamline operations and facilitate a culture of datadriven experimentation within the product organization.

  • Strategic Experience: Extensive background in strategic operational or business analysis roles at a senior level ideally within technology companies.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to analyze large datasets extract actionable insights and communicate findings to drive datadriven product decisions.
  • Business Savvy: Deep understanding of business fundamentals including pricing revenue models and the ability to analyze financial data related to product performance.
  • SolutionOriented: A proactive problemsolver who thrives on addressing challenges with a combination of analytical rigor and practical solutions.
  • Communicator: Can translate complex data into clear impactful presentations for executives and diverse stakeholders.

WHAT YOU (YOUR TEAM) WILL DO

  • Inform Product Strategy: Conduct indepth analysis to guide product roadmaps identify market opportunities and refine product features.
  • Optimize Partnerships: Manage relationships with thirdparty partners to explore mutually beneficial integration or business development initiatives.
  • Pricing & Market Analysis: Collaborate with product and GTM teams to develop pricing models analyze market response and propose refinements.
  • Process Improvement: Map out productrelated processes identify areas for efficiency gains and design streamlined workflows.
  • DataDriven Culture: Advocate for datainformed decisionmaking and encourage experimentation across product development teams.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

  • Experience: 15 years in technologyfocused roles with proven success in leadership positions requiring strategic thinking and operational excellence.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business Statistics or a related analytical field. MBA or comparable business degree is a strong asset.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ideal: Prior experience in a management consulting role is advantageous.
