About this opportunity
The VP & GM, Latin America will have responsibility for driving profitable growth of this growing region for Align. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, dynamic individual who will oversee the business performance and provide strategic direction for Latin America. The focus will be on understanding the current market/industry situation, developing insights into future market and technological trends, as well as identifying and investing in the highest impact opportunities. He/she will drive the business through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting the Align culture, with a focus on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis.

In this role, you will
Manage profit and loss and drive core growth in LATAM including meeting or exceeding the annual and long-term strategic revenue and profit goals
Lead the development, presentation and execution of the LATAM strategic plan consisting of winning strategies and business plans that are supported by detailed market information and voice of the customer as part of the annual strategic planning process
Lead and inspire a cross-functional organization including Country or Regional Heads of Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Business Development, and all support functions
Drive the development of new product offerings based on customer/market validated valuable problems
Actively collaborate with the other countries within the Americas region on sales, marketing, operations to develop and ensure execution of successful sales, marketing and clinical education programs and strategies across the region
Monitor and interpret changes in the competitive landscape/technology developments in LATAM, develop and execute response initiatives
Drive positive customer experience by ensuring reliable supply, high quality and performance of our products and services offerings as well as high level pre- and post-sales customer support
Travel to take part in industry conference and to visit customers throughout the countries to collect voice of customer data
Participate as a member of the Americas management team in leadership decisions that impact the entire organization as we drive to serve our customer, market, and associate needs and drive profitable growth on behalf of Align shareholders
Have a high level of customer activity and engagement - building influence and relationships with KOL, high volume doctors and professional organizations.
Drive Compliance culture in the region, leading by example and in accordance to Code of Conduct and applicable legislation, internally and externally.

In this role, youll need
Bachelors Degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
Minimum 15 years sales, sales operations and marketing experience
Prior P&L leadership experience at the Director or above level
Direct sales management experience
Medical device and/or Pharma experience preferred
Outstanding financial acumen, including resource allocation, budget management and reporting, strategic sourcing, and P&L evaluation
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence the organization
Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal effectiveness
Ability to effectively translate and synthesize analytics into key business objectives and findings to drive strategic decision making
