Veterinarian Assistant

We are looking for a veterinarian Assistant to join our team.

We are a referral only clinic that offers internal medicine medical oncology and surgical care. We aim to provide superior client service and patient care that creates a lasting relationship based on trust and respect.

Provide your best care with more bridges and less barriers. As a Vet Assistant/Tech you ll play an important role in pets lives by providing endtoend care for our precious patients. Your lifechanging work will range from the handson care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Support veterinarian to ensure quality veterinary care advocate for pets and educate clients

With each hospital function assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow

Monitor patients for anesthetic procedures including surgeries CT and MRI

Check in and discharge patients

Assist with placing catheters and blood draws

Fill medications as needed

Run chemistry panels

Take Radiographs

Perform laser treatments

Assist with bandage changes

Requirements

Must have relevant experience

Team player

Knowledge on basic veterinary terminology

Customer service experience required

Hospital hours: Tuesday and Wednesday. Must be able to open at 8am and may need to stay longer than the closing time.
