VBA Macro Developer with Power Query

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements for VBA macro and Power Query development
• Create and optimize VBA macro solutions to automate repetitive tasks in Microsoft Excel
• Design and implement Power Query transformations and data modeling to support data analysis needs
• Debug troubleshoot and enhance existing VBA macros and Power Query scripts
• Document macro and Power Query solutions for future reference and maintenance
• Work closely with team members to integrate VBA and Power Query solutions into existing systems
• Provide technical support and training to end users on VBA macros and Power Query functionalities
• Stay updated on latest VBA and Power Query features and best practices
• Collaborate with data analysts and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements
• Conduct performance testing and optimization of VBA and Power Query solutions
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in VBA and Power Query solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience in developing VBA macros for data manipulation and automation
• Expertise in using Power Query for data transformation cleansing and modeling
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VBScript C# or Python
• Strong understanding of Excel functions and formulas
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
• Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL querying
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality solutions
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Certification in Microsoft Excel or Power Query is a plus
