JOB TITLE: Office Clerk
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: #50000 #70000
LOCATION: Ikeja Lagos State.

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Duties will include but are not limited to handling clerical tasks maintaining files and records and assisting with office organization and communication.

Requirements

  1. OND/NCE in business administration or or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Familiarity with basic office equipment (e.g. printers copiers fax machines).
  8. Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effective.
  9. Proven experience as an office clerk or in a similar role.
Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform clerical tasks such as sorting and distributing mail filing documents and managing office supplies.
  2. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
  3. Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings.
  4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  5. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
  6. Assist with data entry and record keeping.
  7. Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as preparing invoices and processing payments.
  8. Assist in organizing and maintaining office common areas.
  9. Undertake occasional errands as assigned.
