JOB TITLE: Vacancy for Electrician in Victoria Island Lagos
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: #100000 #200000
LOCATION: Lagos Island Lagos State.
WORK HOURS: 8:00AM 5:00PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The Electrician will work closely with our facilities and maintenance teams to ensure the safety and reliability of our electrical infrastructure.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems components and equipment.
- Inspect electrical systems wiring and fixtures for safety and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems meet operational requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of electrical systems.
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed materials used and time spent.
- Stay uptodate with industry codes regulations and best practices.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve electrical problems swiftly.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address facilitywide issues.
- Provide guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices.
Job Requirements:
- SSCE / OND / HND / B.TECH or BSC.
- Proven experience as an Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical components and processes.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools used in the electrical trade.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions.
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices.
