Job Description

We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer to design software solutions.


The UI/UX Designer s responsibilities include translating ideas into concrete wireframes, user flows and mockups to enable a fluid and modular implementation of the solution. They should also be able to apply a divide-and-conquer approach, breaking down the software system requirements into reusable and consistent sub-components which optimize the implementation cycles. They should also be able to use collaboration tools that reduce the communication boilerplate, roll-out changes and modifications in an agile development environment and troubleshoot UX problems in an automated and efficient manner.


Ultimately, the role of the UI/UX Designer is to collaborate effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams in order to transcribe and communicate his output.

Role and Responsibilities

Core responsibilities of the position

Reporting to the Head of Software Development and Product Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the UI/UX designer will include:


  • Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and client feedback
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
  • Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
  • Validate the coherence and consistency of the different systems that build up the Augment ecosystem
  • Creating original graphic designs (e.g., icons, images, sketches and tables)
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
  • Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
  • Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

Day-to-day activities of the position

you should expect to:

  • Meet with clients and assess user reviews in order to translate their feedback and suggestions into designs and mockups
  • Research on the state-of-the-art and standardized ways of implementing the different functionalities of our software systems
  • Design core and secondary systems that include Web Applications and Mobile Applications
  • Brainstorm and strategize with the core team members in order to verify and validate work outputs schedule

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Requirements

  • You have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or a related field
  • You have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
  • You have a strong collaborative and team spirit
  • You have a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and creative environment
  • You have excellent English communication and writing skills

Core Competency Requirements

  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, XD, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma etc.
  • You are proficient in collaboration tools such as Zeplin
  • You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
  • You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions

Preferred Competency Requirements

Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
