Blackridge Group is hiring for one of her clients a CAD Designer in Luxembourg.
You can expect to engage in these exciting tasks:
- Develop and provide 3D CAD models and technical drawings of glass products for all OE customers in native CAD format.
- Generate and support CAD and CAE studies with 2D/3D CAD models for analysis supporting new OE models.
- Develop and provide internal manufacturing specification drawings to manufacturing plants.
- Collaborate with engineers program managers and other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts determine the nature and type of detailed execution drawings required.
- Support engineering studies on product design associated components and structures using 3D CAD models to develop feasibility drawings and data sheets.
- Support tooling engineers and suppliers with 3D mathematical data transfers.
Heres what you can bring to the team:
- Bachelors degree in CAD design industrial engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in automotive product design using CATIA CAD tools.
- Over 3 years of experience in generating 2D CAD drawings using industrystandard GD&T methodology.
- Over a year of experience in automotive glass products highly appreciated.
- Valid drivers license required for business travel.
- Cooperate within teams to accomplish tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience in formulating and managing project schedules.
- Intermediate/advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite; Word Excel Project and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate/advanced skill level with CATIA UG and TCe.
- Intermediate/advanced experience in industrial drawing and CAD standards.
- Good English communication skills are mandatory; German is a significant asset.
- Advanced/practical approach to problemsolving and analysis.
