Tunnel Construction Laborer

At IIQAF we are a leading construction company that specializes in the design and development of underground tunnels for transportation communication and utility purposes. We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Tunnel Construction Laborers. In this role you will be responsible for assisting our construction crew in the excavation reinforcement and finishing of tunnel structures. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with excavation duties including operating heavy machinery such as excavators and backhoes.

Assist with the installation of support beams rebar and other reinforcement materials.

Perform concrete and grout mixing and pouring.

Assist in drilling and blasting operations.

Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.

Follow instructions and work closely with the construction team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Perform general labor duties including cleaning and maintaining construction equipment and tools.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to work in a physically demanding and fastpaced environment.

Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and in confined spaces.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
