Transportation Engineer

An industry leading multidisciplinary team is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their Cleveland team!

Responsibilities:

• Design/develop various types of roadway/highway improvement projects
  
• Develop horizontal/vertical roadway/highway alignments design modeling and engineering calculations
  
• Perform all aspects of roadway/highway design (drainage design maintenance of traffic pavement marking/striping and signing)
  
• Prepare preliminary/detailed design plans quantities specifications and construction cost estimates
  
• Use technical expertise for the development evaluation selection and modification of standards engineering techniques/procedures
  
• Occasional client and subconsultant communication
  
• Site visits periodically
  
• Assist with Request for Information during construction phase
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 7 years of experience
  
• PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months
  
• Experience using AASHTO ODOT Design Criteria and FDOT Design Criteria
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D Microstation and Geopak
  
• Experience using Open Roads preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
