We are seeking a dedicated Training & Development Manager (with previous experience in a similar position)to lead our training initiatives ensuring the continuous professional development of our team members.

Overview of the Position:

The Training & Development Manager plays a critical role in the planning execution and enhancement of our companys training and development programs. This position is responsible for identifying training needs contributing tocurriculum design delivering training sessions and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis to identify training requirements for all departments.
  • Create implement and manage training strategies plans and processes.
  • Design and deliver impactful and engaging training content tailored to various learning styles.
  • Deliver effective onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Track and report on training outcomes providing actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in training and development.
  • Manage the training budget effectively ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to align training with business goals.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in Human Resources Education Business Administration or a related field.
  • Previous shipboard experience in training and development with 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles learning management systems (LMS) and elearning platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire diverse crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • A genuine passion for learning and helping others achieve their full potential.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • Certifications in training instructional design or talent development such as CIPD ATD or similar.
  • Experience in creating and executing leadership development programs.

Contract Details:

  • A competitive salary.
  • 45 months contracts followed by 2 months of vacation.
  • Single berth accommodation
