Test Engineer

• Architect Test and Burnin fixture designs both hardware and software Test Plans compliant to customer requirements
  
• Mentor less experienced Test Engineers on proper methodology of test
  
• Support both internal design reviews and external design reviews with customer
  
• Work with Design Engineers on issues with test equipment hardware software reliability and qualification across multiple shifts and facilities.
  
• Support maintenance and repair of test station hardware software and interface test adaptors both internally systems designed and COTS.
  
• Utilize a vast knowledge of precedents in test engineering and administer understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test integrity and efficiency.
  
• Provide continuous improvement ideas and drive cost reduction initiatives on production test.
  
• Work with factory production personnel to resolve test related issues.
  
• Present technical expertise and recommendations to test manufacturing product and quality engineers on production feedback and support issues.
  
• Develop procedures methods and tools for test verification and certification of the company s products.
  
• Develop procedures and tools for testing calibration and verification of the equipment.
  
• Ensure the equipment is properly tested calibrated and certified according to the corresponding procedures.
  
• When repetitive failure of company s products occur or failure under warranty participate in Root Cause Analysis.
  
• When required support the Design Engineers in troubleshooting and repairing returned products from the customers.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related course or relevant military training and experience.
  
• Experience in data gathering and analysis using appropriate software tools and/or the ability to write or evaluate such tools.
  
• Ample knowledge and experience working with systems and a wide variety of testing tools oscilloscopes DMM Function Generator etc.
  
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect reporting process.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must.
  
• Mechanical skills a plus.
