Deliverable Architecture Design

  • Lead project teams in the technical and architectural design development implementation and maintenance of cost effective web technology solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing testing and debugging of a restful. NET solution/web service to act as a message broker between the OPS BMC Remedy environment and related tools and various external vendors supporting Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) project and Government Mobile Communications Branch (GMCB).
  • This would include Incident Management Service Request Management and components of the configuration management database (CMDB) to be a bidirectional messaging system to other vendor IT service management (ITSM) toolsets.
  • The Technology Architects would be responsible for Architecture Design UAT & Production testing with OPS vendors and to establish a standardized data model for reuse with new and existing vendors for the future. The Services and Deliverables to be provided by the Vendor will include the following:
  • Design Develop Administer and populate updates to the MSSQL databases
  • Modify or Create existing workflow.
  • Develop or modify existing Custom Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Develop or modify existing integration logic with the BMC Remedy ITSM tool set and related modules (Incident Service Request Change Release Problem CMDB).
  • Create administrators guide and support documentation for the web application(s) and BMCRemedy.
  • Development of methods and procedures to load and maintain large amounts of data between the OPS BMC Remedy toolset and ITSM toolsets of the external vendor(s).
  • User acceptance testing of the tool(s).


Requirements

ITSM Tools Experience

Parameters:

  • Experience with the use and implementation of BMC ITSM 7.6.04/8.1/9.1 for a large Enterprise Service Desk Experience in ITSM compliant Remedy System.
  • Experience in Recognized ITSM compliant Service Desk tool (Tivoli Service Desk Heat IMPACT CA Service Desk).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Service Management via emails word documents etc.
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models).


ITIL Knowledge

Parameters:

  • Working knowledge of designed processes around ITIL Practices and the ability to guide others using this Methodology.
  • Demonstrated attainment of ITIL Foundation V3 Certification.
  • 10 years Application Methodology experience following the Software development lifecycle including Analysis planning design coding testing unit test and delivery.


Analysis and Communication Skills

Parameters:

  • Experience with developing complex documents synthesizing a variety of ideas views and issues into a fluid and cohesive fashion and articles of thought processes and information in a profound and persuasive way to provoke audience to thought or action.
  • Experience with communicating information that sets new corporate and political direction and has a large public impact provincially nationally and/or globally.
  • Strong understanding of the impact of messaging on others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to questions by providing clear concise and accurate information.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills verbal and written communication skills interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.


Experience with development of business to business (B2B) bridge solutions for enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions

Parameters:

  • Experience with planning design and development of custom business to business (B2B) bridge solutions for ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise or government ITSM solutions developing RESTful API services to support 2way communications between ITSM solutions.
