Technical Writer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer specializing in Infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in documenting and communicating technical information related to voice data telecom and VPN (Virtual Private Network) infrastructure. The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with Technical Architects and other stakeholders to produce clear accurate and comprehensive documentation that supports the design implementation and maintenance of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Create drive test and maintain technical documentation for voice data telecom and VPN infrastructure.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical content.
• Translate complex technical concepts and jargon into clear concise and accessible language suitable for various audiences including technical staff endusers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements deadlines and deliverables and prioritize documentation tasks accordingly.
• Ensure documentation complies with industry standards regulatory requirements and company guidelines for quality consistency and style.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve documentation processes tools and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay current with emerging technologies trends and best practices in infrastructure and technical writing and incorporate relevant updates into documentation as needed.
• Provide support and guidance to internal teams and external partners on understanding and utilizing documentation effectively. Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Technical Communication or related field is a plus
• Proven experience working as a Technical Writer preferably in the infrastructure domain with a focus on voice data telecom and VPN technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts protocols and technologies.
• Experience with VPN technologies such as IPsec SSL/TLS and VPN protocols like OpenVPN L2TP and IKEv2.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat Visio Markdown Confluence or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills able to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Confluence.
