Job Description
Skyloov Property Portal is a leading real estate platform based in Dubai.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. The desired Project Manager should possess substantial expertise in microservices and communication protocols. Furthermore, they should demonstrate a profound understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services.
Tasks
- Lead the end-to-end project management of Python & PHP initiatives, from inception to delivery, ensuring that projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and take corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Define and manage project scope, goals, and success criteria. Obtain stakeholder approval on project plans and changes.
- Identify potential risks and challenges specific to Python and PHP, and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Proactively communicate risks and issues to stakeholders and seek timely resolution.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members. Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reviews.
- Track and manage project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization. Ensure optimal resource allocation and alignment with project priorities.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of technical details and requirements of Python and PHP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project-related communication with clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members. Set performance expectations and conduct performance evaluations.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, successfully leading and delivering complex Python and PHP projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and the ability to tailor them to project needs.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, make decisions, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency in both Python and PHP, with a strong technical background that allows for effective collaboration with development teams.
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries in Python and PHP is advantageous.
