Job Description

We are hiring a Technical Project Assistant role to assist the Project Manager and Head of Projects in cocoordinating existing and new tech projects. To excel in this role you should have high coordination and planning skills coupled with excellent communication.

  1. Coordinate new feature implementation
  2. High level documentation of new features.
  3. Develop project plans based on realistic timelines available resources and current workload.
  4. Documenting tasks on Jira and allocating tasks to the engineering team in coordination with the Head of Engineering and maintaining constant follow through to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
  5. Follow up with implementation leads on the tasks status of various projects.
  6. Provide feedback and reports to management on the status of the various projects and improve the projects implementation process.
  7. Coordinate with the Head of Customer Service on new features and training.

Requirements

  1. At Least 2 years experience in implementing software projects.
  2. At Least 1 year experience managing software engineers.
  3. At Least 1 year experience in a tech company.
  4. Bachelor s degree in business computer science IT projects management or related field.
  5. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Solid technical background with understanding or handson experience in software development process and tech.
  7. Solid understanding of tech product technicalities like API ERP integrations etc.
  8. Strong knowledge of using Project Tracking Tools like Jira Zoho Projects Trello etc.
  9. Working experience as a project manager or product manager.
  10. Strong understanding of agile project management methodologies.
  11. A certification in Project Management would be an added advantage.
