Tech Lead PHP

Tasks

Leading and managing a team of frontend developers, full-stack developers, web designers, and
QA testers, including assisting with interviews, etc.
Building client websites and integrating them with our tech solution.
Working with CMS platforms and e-commerce systems.
Collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Defining technical requirements and specifications for projects.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Reviewing code and ensuring coding standards are followed.
Participating in architectural decisions and design reviews.
Managing project timelines, tasks, and deliverables.
Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
Coordinating with other departments or teams as necessary.
Monitoring and ensuring the security of applications and data.
Preparing and managing budgets for projects and resources.
Evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies as needed.
Ensuring the quality and performance of applications.
Managing conflicts and resolving any team-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience as a manager/tech lead.
2+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a background working with CMS platforms and e-commerce systems.
Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
Solid experience with back-end technologies, including server-side languages (PHP) and frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
Basic Experience with Linux and web servers such as NGINX or Apache.
Basic Experience working with databases, including MySQL.
Strong understanding of API design and integration, with experience working with RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
Experience in affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or fintech is an enormous plus (but not a necessity)
