The Role of Account Manager

This is a home / field based role (covering Scotland). Our client requires a skilled sales professional / Account Manager with a depth of skills and character to take a broad portfolio of products and programmes to develop relationships with existing clients as well as secure attractive new business. As Account Manager, you will manage accounts with end users across sectors such as aerospace, food processing, education, nuclear, oil and aviation. You will talk to 'users of the products' to demonstrate them as well as Engineering Managers. This role 90% account management with a varied mix of clients that include large blue-chip as well as SME's.

Their substantial product portfolio is sold directly across multiple market sectors, including Aerospace, Rail, Energy, Education, General Manufacturing and Food to a wide range of blue-chip organisations and other businesses. With a history of continual growth and strong ambitions for the future they are looking to invest in their sales team. This organisation are known for their in- house training that enables successful recruits to enjoy great prospects with a global blue-chip brand.

The Candidate (Account Manager)

We are looking for a field based Account Manager with:

  • 12 months field sales B2B experience
  • Experience selling products with a proven track record with good account manager / account management skills
  • An interest or experience in the industrial / mechanical is advantageous
  • IT Savvy / basic level of competence with MS office products

The Package

  • 30,000 basic negotiable
  • 10,000 guaranteed bonus / OTE circa 20k+ uncapped
  • Commissions & bonuses paid out monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • 7% vs 7% matched pension
  • 23 days plus stats
  • Company car
