Supply Chain - Procurement Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with interviewing vendors agents and representatives; investigate vendors to establish their reliability and ability as a source of supply.
• Assist with negotiating purchases for standard commodities readily available supplies and services within prescribed dollar limits such purchases and associated procedures being subject to controls and approval of a supervisor.
• Follow up purchases through correspondence telephone or wire to expedite orders change amounts material specifications etc.
• Review and check material requisitions purchase orders vendors invoices receiving slips credit memorandum etc.

Qualifications:

• 1 3 years of purchasing experience (preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment)
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and possess excellent communication skills
• Highly organized punctual reliable and willing to work overtime as deemed necessary by supervisor to meet customer demands
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work independently

Education Required:

• High school graduate (post high school courses in purchasing preferred)
