What THE Community Education Coordinator role looks like .
We are looking for two (or more) Community Education Coordinators (CEC) to join our multidisciplinary team at Kimberley Community Legal Service in Broome and As a Community Education Coordinator, you will be working to ensure KCLS multi-practice services are strongly connected to the communities in which we operate, especially remote Aboriginal communities, as you are passionate about community development and You will develop, coordinate and deliver Community Legal Education (CLE) and Community Education (CE) and capacity-building services to those communities by enhancing:

Close working knowledge of Aboriginal culture and communities in the Kimberley, and the ability to rapidly build trust within those
Critical interpersonal communication skills, including communicating with clients with empathy and reflecting on our
Sound organisational skills and ability to manage workload, competing demands, meet deadlines and to work effectively as part of a
Understanding and commitment to principles of social justice and to working effectively with Aboriginal
Experience or aptitude in developing and delivering social change and/or education programs, ideally in an Aboriginal
Working knowledge of office systems, and ideally some experience or aptitude with basic print and online design programs, and computer
Personal resilience, adaptability and ability to meet the challenges of remote service
Successful applicants will need to provide references, a recent WA Police Clearance, current Working with Children s Check, and their working rights in
