Student Counsellor

Job Description :
The ideal candidate is a dedicated, compassionate person who will treat all students with patience and compassion for the challenges they are facing.

Responsibilities :
1. Listen to students' academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns in an open and nonjudgemental way
2. Work directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals
3. Assist with conflict mediation and resolution between students, students and teachers, or parents and teachers to ensure students' goals are not disrupted
4. Provide one-on-one career guidance and skills assessment to assist with career development
5. Help students to prepare for admissions applications and tests

Qualification :
1. Bachelor's or associate's degree in counseling
2. Minimum of 2 years professional counseling experience, preferably in an educational field
3. Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational assessment
