Were building the team for an ambitious brand growth and transformation consultancy that operates on the periphery of management consultancy and strategic insights. They use qualitative and quantitative market research techniques management frameworks and business knowledge to design build and interpret insights to meet clients business objectives.
They are EXPERTS in providing solutions across the topic areas of Strategy Innovation and Growth (i.e. product/service strategy gotomarket and customer experience through the integration of market research and strategic frameworks). The team are experienced strategy consultants with a demonstrated history of tackling corporate problems and providing actionable recommendations with tangible results to a wide variety of business clients.
The role uses a deep understanding of developing customer empathy via qualitative research to address project team and client goals. Day to day youll define and frame client situations into clear answerable research questions and pull insights through an interactive process with the team to form strategic recommendations.
Examples of projects you might get involved with:
Changing how entire product categories are sold and purchased
Creating transformative insightsled frameworks to realign GTM strategies
Delivering foundational projects that led to awardwinning ATL campaigns
Combining product brand and customer journeys into comprehensive and highly impactful interventions
Helping Fortune 50 clients with their most complex CX GTM and strategic insights challenges
You are a handson delivery practitioner (wellversed in both QUALled insights and strategy). A strong set of research skills and firsthand experience with a range of qualitative techniques is essential including but not limited to writing discussion guides 1:1 interviews/IDIs focus groups ethnography concept testing positioning exploration or validation benefit testing consumer or shopper segmentation analysis need state segmentation etc. Every project you do has a strong grounding in QUALITATIVE research to extract deep insight and behavioural nuances and validate solutions to develop sustainable service propositions.
You have a high degree of curiosity and willingness to collaborate (they often solve large messy issues for their clients). You must be able to tolerate ambiguity leverage and utilise others around you ask intelligent questions to get to the root of the issue and be inclusive of others points of view. You also have a demonstrable track record of leading client relationships and delivering quality engagements that result in longstanding client relationships and repeat client engagements. You are passionate about understanding how people think behave and make decisions; and turning data into insights/actionable strategy!
You might be currently working as a Strategy & Innovation Consultant at a strategy insights or brandgrowth consultancy helping Fortune 50 clients across Europe and the U.S. transform their business models design innovation infrastructure and create new ventures. You have led B2B and B2C projects in sectors such as Tech Retail FinTech and Telco with a focus on unlocking customer experienceled business transformation. You help clients not only design digital products and services that people want need or love but also qualify the business opportunity and consistently challenge client teams to course correct.
You dont want to be defined by the progression path of a bigger consultancy and would love to influence the decisionmaking of global Fortune 500 companies from day one! You want unlimited growth potential (in terms of both career progression and financial rewards). You dont mind getting granular with the aspects of the projects (aka Qual research) but can demonstrate big strategy thinking at the same time.
