Stores Operative

Due to rapid growth within the business we are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to help with our busy Warehouse & yard! At Opals Group we design build manage and maintain vital communications infrastructure for every everyday use for a betterconnected world. We work with major network operators technology vendors and engineering companies to design build manage and maintain the next generation of communication networks.

Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:

• Ensure the warehouse & yard is always operational safe and compliant to H&S regulations
• Maintain an uptodate awareness of H&S
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse & yard
• Keep the warehouse neat and tidy
• Loading and unloading lorries if required
• Any other reasonable tasks that you are requested to carry out

What we are looking for:

• Experience working in a busy yard/similar environment/construction site
• Initiative to carry out tasks independently
• Ability to cope with the physical demands of the role
• Cat B Driving Licence and Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively to ensure efficiency
