F/T Steel Stud Framer required for New York Steel Framing Ltd. located at 12789 68 Ave Surrey, BC V3W 2E3 Company Description We are currently looking for a full time Steel Stud Framer to join us at New York Steel Framing Ltd. on a permanent, full time, basis. As a Steel Stud Framer your job description would be as follows: Read Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. May prepare cost estimates for clients. Install, floor beams, build foundations, erect walls and roof systems. Measure, cut, shape assemble and join material made of wood, wood substitutes, and other material. Maintain safe and clean environment. Knowledge of material, methods, and the tools necessary for complete assigned work. Renovate and repair structures using various equipment as, screw, nails, staples. Essential Skills: Able to work in fast paced environment, be physically able to handle heavy equipment Position: Steel Stud Framer (Permanent/Full Time) No of Vacancies: 5 Position Education: Secondary school education required Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English Salary: $29.00 hourly for 40 hours Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial or residential projects Job Location: All over lower mainland area depending upon contracts.
