Company Description: One of client is a leading manufacturer of Fragrances Flavours and Aroma Chemicals based in Thane Maharashtra. The company is looking for a Statutory Compliance Manager to manage Compliances relating to Labour Industrial Relation Establishment and Factory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures related to labour compliance and industrial relations keeping them uptodate with evolving legal and regulatory changes.
  • Strictly adhere to the Laws applicable to the Establishment and Factory.
  • Monitor and interpret Central and State labour laws regulations and Factory laws to ensure the organizations compliance with all labour & factory related requirements.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to management on labour & factory related matters including employment contracts workplace policies and disciplinary actions.
  • Managing all returns under various Labour Laws & factory laws.
  • Representation in all the labour & factory related disputes at the central/state labour office.
  • Followup with Compliance Partner to ensure timely submission of reply to letters and records/ data and request requisite acknowledgement(s) for subsidiary units.
  • Knowledge of licensing & certifications application or renewal procedure (DIC DISH MIDC MPCB EC Narcotics PESSO FOREST Municipal corporation MSEB FSSAI etc.)
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and tracking tools ensuring manual and electronic records are kept up to date to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Should have knowledge of ISO Audit.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to plan organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously completing assignments ontime and with accuracy.
  • Understand importance of process controls and compliance tasks.
  • Good organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Fluent in using software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
Education Qualification:
  • Masters degree in Human Resources Industrial Relations Law or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in labour compliance factory compliance industrial relations or a related role.
  • Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
