Job Description

Our client a prominent oil production company in Thailand is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to join their team.

Type of hiring: Contract 1 year

Location: Bangkok

  • Serve as a role model to support safety security health and environment (SSHE) activities.
  • Drive the achievement of SSHE key performance indicators (KPIs) and continual improvement.
  • Coordinate between the company and the EPCI contractor to ensure project objectives and SSHE standards are met.
  • Provide insights and guidance during project SSHE meetings.
  • Promote SSHE policies stop work authority and project SSHE rules.
  • Assist in reviewing and providing comments on SSHE procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly update SSHE issue statuses.
  • Collaborate closely with company and EPCI contractors to align SSHE objectives.
  • Collect and report environmental performance data.
  • Monitor contractor personnel competency.
  • Ensure quality and progress of contractor SSHE documentation.
  • Facilitate project SSHE induction for company project site team.
  • Evaluate contractor SSHE outputs and advise on improvements.
  • Conduct preexecution SSHE audits.
  • Monitor project SSHE incentive and KPI reports.
  • Proactively intervene in SSHE anomalies and report to Company Site Representative.
  • Monitor implementation of health systems and safety programs.
  • Support incident investigations and reports.
  • Monitor safety observation and communication programs.
  • Participate in emergency exercises.
  • Conduct Permit to Work audits.
  • Attend training audits and inspections.
  • Perform SSHE audits and track action closeouts.
  • Ensure EPCI contractor compliance with SSHE requirements.
  • Enhance the existing SSHE program.
  • Engage in SSHE KPI and plan setting.
  • Verify and validate SSHE management system implementation.
  • Review Project SSHE MS documents for technical accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering SSHE Sciences internationally recognized Diplomas in SSHE or equivalent.
  • 35 years of experience in the operation of the oil and gas industry and/or in SSHErelated fields. Direct experience with EPCI projects for wellhead platforms in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English (TOEIC Score Requirement: 550).
  • Proficient computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Teams MS Outlook etc.
  • Analytical and communication skills.
