Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing configuring and supporting our WebMethods environment. This role requires a deep understanding of integration principles and the ability to design and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements. The WebMethods Developer will work closely with business users IT teams and vendors to deliver highquality IT services and support.
Responsibilities:
Analyze user requirements to prepare technical specifications and develop integration solutions using WebMethods.
Design configure develop and test WebMethods projects ensuring alignment with business goals and IT standards.
Deploy and support WebMethods components including Integration Server Universal Messaging API Gateway and more.
Serve as a technical expert on microservicebased applications utilizing Java and Spring Framework to create REST API services.
Collaborate with the infrastructure team on integration and projectrelated tasks including performance tuning and maintenance of databases.
Engage in UAT and production support to ensure system availability and stability.
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategies.
Document all work according to required standards methods and tools.
Requirements/Skills:
Solid understanding of EAI middleware and integration principles at the enterprise level.
Experience with WebMethods product suite (versions 9.x & 10.x) and components such as Integration Server My WebMethods Server (MWS) and Adapters (JDBC MQ).
Proficiency in developing web services (SOAP REST APIs) and a strong understanding of SOA.
Handson experience with Spring Boot Spring Framework Spring Security and MVC.
Experience with Docker and container technologies (Kubernetes is a plus).
Demonstrable expertise in CI/CD pipelines Jenkins and build tools/scripts (YAML/MAVEN/ANT).
Familiarity with security protocols including logging JSBC LDAP and JWT.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Broker/Messaging and strong administration and development skills in WebMethods Integration Server.
Strong database skills particularly with MS SQL Server TSQL and Stored Procedures.
Ability to write Java services and experience with scripting (batch script PowerShell).
Experience with Angular / React JSbased applications is advantageous.
Knowledge of logistics business is a bonus.
Education and Experience:
BTech or relevant educational field required
