Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) is a business generator serving metro Atlanta created to support entrepreneurs in overcoming the unique barriers they face in building thriving businesses. RICE is the largest center of its kind in the United States spanning 54000 square feet. We invest in Black entrepreneurs strengthen businesses and create community. RICE provides a way forward through innovative programming targeted at Black entrepreneurs and small business owners.
This Are you familiar with donor management systems and fundraising software Can you provide examples of the tools you have used to track donations and donor relationships
- Be responsible for an annual revenue goal of $750000
- Oversee moves management for assigned portfolio
- Senior member of the development staff; support all corporate and foundation giving.
- Responsibilities include programmatic and operational support for all fundraising from corporations and corporate foundations.
- Participate in implementation of strategy goals and objectives of unrestricted and restricted revenue to support the organization s annual budget.
- Assist the VP of Development to prepare an annual plan of action for development programs.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of donors ranging from $5000$99999
- Participation in other nonfundraising activities that are related to the development program special events programming and community events.
- Stay abreast of developments within the Atlanta ecosystems as it relates to philanthropy wealth creation and diverse entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree
- 5 years of direct fundraising experience required
- Project management skills
- Previous proposal writing experience required
- Event planning experience a plus
- Strong communication skills including public speaking and writing
- Skilled in exercising discretion and independent judgment about management tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple demands
- Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds
- Reliable transportation
