Sr Cloud Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable highly available and faulttolerant cloud infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and testing
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments
• Monitor system performance and reliability troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize cloudbased applications
• Manage cloud resources including storage networking and compute instances
• Participate in capacity planning and optimization of cloud resources
• Conduct regular system upgrades and enhancements
• Document and maintain comprehensive cloud infrastructure and configuration
• Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for cloud architecture and operations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud technologies and processes
• Participate in oncall rotation and provide timely resolution for critical incidents
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in designing implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell
• Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ability to configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Indepth knowledge of networking security and identity management in cloud environments
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring logging and performance management tools for cloud
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• A passion for continuous learning and innovation in cloud technologies
