Sr Accountant

Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant for a perm role in Duluth, GA.

Skills:

Bachelors Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

3-5 years of experience in Accounting

Experience with Software and Consulting organizations is a plus

Experience with QuickBooks and other ERP system like Sage Intacct / NetSuite / Infor

Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS

CPA / CPA track is a plus

Strong Excel skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments

Demonstrated problem solving ability (identify problems and develop / implement solutions)

Ability to take ownership and drive projects / issues to completion.

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

Review current accounting procedures and document/ implement process improvements

Assist in development of new processes and procedures to improve month end close and financial reporting

Initiate and post journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, and research & resolve issues as needed

Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close

Supporting the preparation and completion of annual audits and income tax filings

Assist with special projects as needed
