Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect is responsible for the design development implementation and management of multiple applications across various platforms within the company. They offer technical leadership and guidance to team members establish and refine standards and lead or participate in code and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Understands the strategic business plans of the department and respective business unit in detail.
2. Provides architectural guidance and support to systems analysts engineers and other architects.
3. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the companys existing IT architecture infrastructure and technology.
4. Establishes documents communicates and upholds technology standards.
5. Conducts research on emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure development recommending costeffective and flexible solutions.
6. Designs develops and supervises the implementation of integrated systems.
7. Creates and executes test plans to evaluate technical performance providing recommendations for enhancements.
8. Mentors junior team members offering guidance and support.
9. Facilitates and participates in code and design reviews.
10. Keeps updated on advancements in web and Windows development information delivery and relational database technology.

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Profound understanding of information processing principles and practices.
2. Advanced technical proficiency in network PC and platform operating systems particularly Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop releases.
3. Expertise in programming languages relevant to the division.
4. Thorough knowledge of applicable data privacy regulations.
5. Strong analytical conceptual and problemsolving skills.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
7. Advanced interpersonal and consultative skills.
8. Ability to communicate complex ideas in a userfriendly manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in computer science information systems or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Over 5 years of experience as a developer.
3. Over 5 years of experience in business requirements gathering and analysis.
4. Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing window and/or webbased systems.
5. Over 5 years of handson experience with application development tools like Visual Studio .NET.
6. Over 5 years of handson experience with relational database technology preferably MS SQL Server.
