Solution Architect

Location: Houston, Tx (2 days per week office visit Hybrid modal MUST)

Rate: $75 to$80 per hour C2C

Skills & Requirements:

1. Typical Years of Experience: 8 to 12 years in IT with experiences across architecture and software development

2. Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree in Engineering

3. Reporting to: Solution Architect Lead

Typical working relationships: IT project managers, product managers, business analysts, IT managers, segment architects, enterprise architects, product owners in business, IT engineering teams.

Domain skill set:

1. Innowatts

2. Commodity Trading

3. Compliance & regulation

4. KYC & AML

5. Credit and Risk

6. Finance

Architecture skill set:

1. At least 03-5 years experience in Architectural Role

2. TOGAF (or similar framework) certification and knowledge of Architectural Modelling (ArchiMate)- Bizz design tool

3. Being the point of call for all architecture aspects of an IT Project (in line with the Project Delivery Framework).

4. Being able to address the: Business Process, Data, Application, Technical, and Information Security aspects of an IT Solution and to document that in a SAHLD(Solution High-Level Design document).

5. Develop this information or else receive this from other parties involved (Data Architects, IRM, ITSO, ET SOM)

Technical skill and Mastery with combination of the following:

1. Hands-on demonstrable experience in architecting migrations/re-platforming of legacy applications into the Azure/AWS platform.

2. Hands-on Architecting experience in building Microservices, 12 Factor Apps, Cloud Native applications, Data Platform

3. Desirable Skills: - intermediate to advance exposure to the below skills.

1. Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, CosmosDB, Azure SQL Data Warehouse

2. AWS RDS, AWS EC2, S3

3. Integration: Mulesoft, Kafka, Aspera, Logic Apps

4. Other Technologies/Platforms: - SAP HANA, Spark, Salesforce, API management, Multifactor authentication, Collibra, Purview, Dremio

5. Programming/Scripting Languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Python, Go Lang, Pig/Hive, SQL, T-SQL, Scala, PowerShell

6. Operating System Platforms: Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.), Windows

Soft skill set:

1. Strong interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written. Good storytelling capabilities

2. Ability to drive change using influence and networking

3. Experienced virtual team worker with the ability to work across time, geographical, and cultural boundaries

4. Exposure to business analysis skills

5. Willingness to stay up to date with key developments in IT

6. Delivery-focused with proactive/hands-on attitude

7. Organized and methodical. Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk.

8. Rigorous, thorough, and with an eye for detail

9. Experience in a large industry IT organization is a plus
