Regate is a company with a strong tech orientation. If we include contractors 50 people out of 120 are dedicated to software engineering.
We are organised into a scrumlike organisation (2 weeks sprints) with 7 features squads including software engineers and PM. We work also with some QA engineers to run the tests beside the software engineers.
You will join The Banking Squad as a Senior Software Engineer focused on Ruby on Rails.This team is focus on topics like Bank Statements Payments/credit Cards or purchase Requests. As well this team recently added some IA tools on the way we manage bank reconciliation
Youll be managed by Johan banking squad lead.
As well outside your squad youll collaborate as well with ops team marketing team and even our cofounders on some specifics topics
Here are the main topics:
- Developing new features and maintaining the existing ones following specifications from Product Management project managed through Clickup
- Producing a clean and maintanable code on Ruby on Rails
- Updating our technicaldocumentation
- Producing a clean and maintanable code

What we are lookng for:
- No degree needed
- At least 5 years of experience including one with Ruby on Rails on production
- A background on SaaS or ecommerce solutions
- Good knowledge on postgreSQL
- Good knowledge on test (especially on unit test and integration test)
- Good knowledge on Monitoring
- Being able to manage application scalability
- Proficiency with database management with PostgreSQL
- Communication skills (English is our work language) towards product and ops team

Our process
- A screening interview with Boubou or Veronica Talent Acquisition Specialists 45 minutes
- An interview with Johan tech lead 45 minutes
- A live technical test with Zouheir or Romain 1 hour and a half
- A last interview with Lo Product Manager 30 minutes
