Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA)

Responsibilities:
1. Administer and maintain Snowflake databases ensuring optimal performance availability and security.
2. Install configure and upgrade Snowflake software and related components.
3. Monitor database health troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Snowflake into the overall technology infrastructure.
5. Implement and enforce security measures including user access controls and encryption to protect sensitive data.
6. Optimize database configurations for efficient query performance and resource utilization.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Database Administrator with specific expertise in Snowflake.
2. Solid understanding of cloud platforms especially AWS.
3. Proficient in SQL and scripting languages for automation tasks.
4. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts data modeling and ETL processes.
5. Familiarity with database security principles and best practices.
6. Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
