Position: Programmer Analyst II (ServiceNow)

Job Description:

The Programmer Analyst II (ServiceNow) is responsible for working with the ServiceNow platform designing coding and troubleshooting applications. In addition to working on custom applications ServiceNow Programmer Analysts manage the platform and infrastructure leading the administration development operation education and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. They also mentor other team members in integration monitoring and implementing best practices in workflows and design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and support the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and support software integrations.
• Create modify and maintain documentation of application code and workflow(s).
• Create modify and maintain reports required for business purposes.
• Ensure stability and implement architectural changes when necessary.
• Lead analysis of end user processes to define application requirements.
• Ability to create and execute test scenarios and analyze and document programming defects (software bugs) inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Identify and recommend system enhancements/improvements.
• Utilize analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science information systems engineering or similar field; or comparable experience.
• Must have the following certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator & ServiceNow App Dev.
• Scripting and Development: Utilize advanced scripting (JavaScript Glide Script) skills to create and optimize business rules client scripts and serverside scripts to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Minimum of three years of experience in ServiceNow development administration and analytics.
• Minimum three years working with the ServiceNow platform with the majority of that time dedicated to analyst activities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical terms into understandable terms for all customer groups.
• Advanced knowledge of procedures utilities programming languages and operating systems.
• Demonstrated ability to write computer code.
• Effective technical troubleshooting and code debugging skills.
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification.
