Job Description

  • Provide Level 2 support for GM Risk Market Data Voice and Imaging domains.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Avaya Unified Communication systems.
  • Support Etrading platforms ensuring smooth operation and timely issue resolution.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and service requests adhering to defined SLAs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address complex technical issues.
  • Participate in the oncall support rotation to ensure 24x7 coverage.
  • Document support activities including issue resolution steps and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system stability and performance.
  • Maintain proficiency in relevant technologies including Avaya systems Etrading platforms and associated tools.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior support engineers as needed.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  • 69 years of experience in Level 3 support roles preferably in financial services or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Avaya Unified Communication systems with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Strong background in supporting Etrading platforms including familiarity with market data feeds and electronic trading protocols.
  • Advanced skills in Java and SQL for troubleshooting and scripting purposes.
  • Experience with Control M Server for job scheduling and automation.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle MSSQL and MySQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Avaya or Etrading platforms.
  • Experience with Tetherfi application or similar financial industry software.
  • Familiarity with voice and imaging technologies such as VoIP and document management systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
