MakeInIndia EV Start up which is involved in designing developing and manufacturing of EV components like Electric Motor Drive Converter and OBD Power Electronic Design and solutions. The company is founded by four young founders who are serial entrepreneurs and successful professionals with more than 14 years of corporate experience in various roles and capacities and hailing from India s top premier institutions like NITs and IIMs / SPJain / IIFT.

Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategicminded Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management with specific exposure to manufacturing processes related to electrical and electronics components lamination sourcing plastic parts aluminum parts extrusion parts and similar materials. This individual will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain operations ensuring the timely delivery of highquality components and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and costeffectiveness

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize sourcing procurement and logistics operations in alignment with business objectives and production requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance including negotiating contracts pricing agreements and terms of engagement to achieve cost savings quality standards and delivery targets.
  • Lead crossfunctional collaboration with engineering manufacturing quality assurance and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes into product development and production workflows.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers conducting supplier audits risk assessments and performance evaluations to build a robust and diversified supply base.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes leveraging data analytics KPIs and industry best practices to streamline workflows reduce lead times and optimize inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies including demand forecasting safety stock planning and inventory optimization techniques to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Monitor market trends industry developments and regulatory requirements affecting the supply chain proactively identifying risks and opportunities for strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cost reduction opportunities value engineering initiatives and product redesigns to optimize material usage and reduce overall manufacturing costs.
  • Lead supplier development programs providing guidance support and training to improve supplier capabilities quality standards and delivery performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal ethical and environmental standards in supply chain operations including adherence to corporate governance policies sustainability initiatives and regulatory requirements.

Candidate
  • 68 Years in Supply Chain Management
  • Proven experience in supply chain management procurement and sourcing roles with a focus on manufacturing processes related to electrical electronics lamination plastic parts aluminum parts and extrusion parts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience with the ability to drive favorable terms pricing agreements and supplier performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with proficiency in data analysis financial modeling and supply chain optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience leading crossfunctional teams and driving change management initiatives in complex organizational environments.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management software (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar ERP systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other productivity tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships influence stakeholders and effectively communicate with internal and external partners.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement in supply chain processes and performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment with a proactive and resultsdriven approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS CSCP CIPS) is a plus.
