Senior Software Developer with Java and Golang

As a Senior Software Developer youll play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of a cuttingedge video streaming platform.

Role description:

• Develop and enhance headend features related to SetTopBox advertising and big data services through the direction of the Technical Product Owner assigned to this team;

• Integrate with Ad partners and vendors leverage viewership data to serve most relevant ad to our customers;
• Drafting architectural decisions together with the Engineering Manager and Solution Architect and exploring new technologies;
• Develop transition services to enable the migration of legacy services to the next generation metadata platform;
• Collaborate with other software engineer teams product managers and architects in a cross functional environment to innovate and improve the Beam product line;
• Provide oncall operational support including triaging and resolving production issues

Qualifications:

• Experienced in Java Golang development;
• Experienced in AWS ecosystem;
• Experienced with CICD development processes / pipelines;
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills;
• Strong verbal/written communication skills;
• Strong teamwork and collaboration focus;
• Experience with implementing unit and functional tests to verify the developed components.

• Hadoop ecosystem;
• Scala/Spark/Python;
• Grafana Kibana Splunk Prometheus.
