This position opening is to be located at our Hiram GA location.

The overall responsibilities of a Senior Project Drafter include:

• Design and prepare electronic (CAD) erection drawings shop tickets and material requisitions from contract drawings and engineering calculations
  
• Prepare plans elevations sections and material requirements from sketches specifications contract drawings and responses to requests for information provided by architects engineers general contractors subcontractors and Metromonts internal project management team
• Consult with engineers and project managers as needed to resolve questions
• Revise computeraided designs and documents to comply with comments and changes to project scope
• Provide technical guidance to the Project Drafter regarding coordination of details between shop tickets and erection drawings

Technical requirements for this position include:

• Associate Degree in Design Architecture or related field with coursework in computeraided design (CAD)
  
• Minimum two (2) years drafting experience
• Knowledge of Revit a Plus
• Able to efficiently read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to create detailed electronic (CAD) working plans from data
