As a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you are a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Healthcare and Immunization experience and will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL code that supports healthcare immunization business processes.


What you ll be doing:

  • - Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL code for healthcare immunization applications

  • - Collaborate with business analysts to understand healthcare immunization business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • - Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design and development of PL/SQL code

  • - Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is efficient, maintainable, and meets development standards

  • - Perform unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing

  • - Identify and troubleshoot issues and provide solutions

  • - Develop technical documentation to support development processes

  • - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in healthcare IT and immunization


What you ll need:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • - At least 8 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development

  • - Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts and SQL

  • - Experience in developing complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers

  • - Experience with healthcare and immunization systems and data standards such as HL7, NDC, CVX, and IIS

  • - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team


Nice to have:

  • - Experience with immunization data exchange platforms such as IZ Gateway, AIRA, or CIR is a plus

  • - Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports is a plus

Salary for roles at Tharseo IT varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set and level of experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,000.00 to $139,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT s total compensation package for employees.
