Senior Mechanical Engineer

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Mechanical Engineer is responsible in providing effective mechanical solutions to product and production
equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Product drawing for customer:
a. Work with Sales Department to generate and manage product design drawing function material
and quality specifications during development phase based on customer request.
2. Ensure all engineering documents are updated and properly maintained at PDM system (DDM).
3. Review and ensure completeness of the engineering BOM drawing and specifications prior issuance to
production.
4. Ensure timely release of engineering BOM drawing and specification to manufacturing/production to
avoid production delay.
5. Lead and support new projects to ensure projects completed on time.
6. Work on continuous improvement activities or projects to increase efficiency and productivity.
7. Ensure engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Product Welding: Ensure PQR WPS and WPQ are qualify according to international standards like
ASME and or customer specific requirements.
9. Product Drawing Review: Review job drawing according to products specification.
10. Ensure that First Pass Yield (FPY) KPI target set are met and conduct continuous improvement plan.
11. Support production supply chain and quality department in resolving in resolving all technical issues
of the products and make disposition on products e.g. feasibility analysis of product usage for
customer.
12. Plan conceptualize and create mechanical designs for new products.
13. Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new internal & customer designs.
14. Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
15. Perform engineering calculations to support design work

16. Create and review technical drawings plans and specifications using computer CAD software
17. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors
18. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
19. Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
20. Generate monthly reports & ensure KPI target is achieved.
21. Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
22. Adheres companys guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
23. Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
24. Participate in companywide or departmental programs such as:
Total Quality Management Lean Manufacturing

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
1. Education : Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Communication : Excellent Communication Skills (Fluent in oral and written English)
3. Experience : Minimum 57 year of proven and solid work experience in the Oil & Gas
equipment Manufacturing Environment
4. Software/Hardware : Knowledge on CAD tool like solid works inventor or proE and read machine
drawings MS Office Suite PLM software.
